Our Team

Since its creation, the orchestra has presented several concerts highlighting the richness of 20th century and contemporary music. Each concert is an opportunity to discover or rediscover major works and explore new musical horizons. Here is the team working together to bring these musical projects to life.

Our Musicians

Guillaume Villiers

Guillaume Villiers

Conductor and Composer

Passionate about orchestral music, Guillaume began by studying the violin before turning to conducting in Jean-Michel Ferran's class. After obtaining his DEM in conducting in 2022, he continued his training at the Paris CRR with Pierre-Michel Durand. Alongside his musicology studies at the Sorbonne, he obtained his DEM in violin in 2024. He is currently studying at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm in the conducting class with Henrik Schaeffer. As a composer, he regularly creates new works for Orchestre Orion.

Léopold Choutri

Léopold Choutri

Violinist and Concertmaster

Léopold Choutri started playing the violin at the age of 5 at the Romainville Conservatory. He decided to pursue a professional music career around 14-15 years old when he entered the CRR93. Passionate about music of all genres (classical music, jazz and traditional music), he doesn't hesitate to switch instruments, such as guitar, double bass or all kinds of percussion, to explore other musical horizons. A great lover of impressionist music like Ravel or Debussy, he nevertheless has a weakness for the music of Steve Reich or John Cage. In 2025, he entered the Royal Conservatory of Namur to train with Mr. George Tudorache (concert master of the Liège Philharmonic). He has been the concertmaster of Orchestre Orion for 1 year.
